2005 Coeur de Vigne

This is our top of the line Barrel Select Bordeaux Blend. Known as one of the greatest wines in the world for its ability to pair with so many foods. From the biggest rib eye, to chicken, pork and even some fish this wine offers your guests a most memorable moment with almost any food.                                                                              The base grape for this wine is Cabernet Sauvignon which makes up 37% of the juice. We add to that 50% Merlot. Being a softer wine and yet a spicier wine Merlot helps smooth out the blend and yet brings some spice that will help it go with so many different foods. Then we add 8% Petit Verdot. A very dark and rich grape which helps give the wine depth and gravitas. Finally 6% Cab Franc is added. As the most floral grape in the world Cab Franc will bring highlight the floral nature of the wine. Or as I like to say "It is like drinking purpleflowers."
