This wine has been tucked away for 28 years so it going to be a little shy at first. Give it 20-45 minutes to open up and you will be greeted with delicious aromas like dark chocolate-covered prunes. The palate will boast notes of cedar, violet and black tea. 86% Cabernet 14% Merlot. For those of you who understand and appreciate the complexities of wine with time on their shoulders.

There is a story behind why the picture shown is of a 1985 Cabernet label. There were very little Coeur de Vignes made this year that they hand wrote the name on the side of the label. If you look at the side you should see Jim's handwritten Coeur de Vigne label.
